The National Health Day event in collaboration between BrainSTEM Alliance, Girls SySTEM Mentorship Program and Rise in STEM. The event will be taking place over 2 Saturdays, May 29th and June 5th from 12:00 -3:00 PM EST and is open to high school students.
The first session will include an overview of different health careers, a career quiz and a roundtable discussion with a diverse group of STEM professionals working in healthcare. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a break-out room discussion with one of the STEM professionals. At the end of the first session, participants will be split into teams for a health themed *design challenge*. You will have the opportunity to upload your design concept prior to the second session on June 5th, where you will be able to present to a panel of judges to win prizes!
